| I created this thread to discuss the differences of installing BOV’s on the two different sets intercooler pipes. I don’t want this to become a thread about BOVs vs. Factory Recircs. I can think of one advantage of putting the BOVs on the outside intercooler pipes. Now the BOVs are venting air that hasn’t been cooled, so it doesn’t waste air the intercoolers worked to cool. I have seen examples of BOVs in each location. Scotts94z32 produces his Hard Pipes kits with the BOVs right near the TBs, whitepearlz and Joe(Nova) also have their cars set up the same. Ash Powers has his on the outside set of intercooler pipes and I believe HKS (may have been another brand) made hardpipes for the Z which had the BOVs already attached and they were also on the outside pipe.
